Fruit Stand is a tribute to Kelowna’s agricultural history.  It is described in the Public Art brochure (PDF) as “whimsical” and I would have to agree.  Seven concrete and terrazzo fruits stand on five concrete benches, and there are mosaics recreating fruit box labels from the 1930’s and 1940’s.  The mosaics measure 26″ by 30″ …
