I used to maintain a blog called Fahrenheit to Celsius: An American In Canada. As I started to work with WordPress, I abandoned that blog, which was on the Blogger platform. WordPress seemed more useful. And then Facebook took off.
But eventually, the 2016 Election happened, and Donald Trump is going to be inaugurated President of the United States next week. This seems like as good a time as any to return to writing about Canadian and American culture and politics.
This weekend, Rep. John Lewis said he didn’t regard Trump as a legitimate President, and urged a boycott of the Inauguration. Donald Trump fired back on Twitter, apparently unaware of who John Lewis actually is or what congressional district he represents.
